S+S Separation and Sorting Technology is a world leader in the supply of metal detection, inspection, separation and sorting systems. S+S systems are used internationally in process, packaging and production lines throughout industry and in the specialized preparation of materials for recycling.

The S+S Separation and Sorting Technology GmbH design, development and manufacturing headquarters is located approximately 150km north east of Munich. We have subsidiary companies and offices in the UK, France, Singapore and the US with additional production in the US and in the Far East. There are distributors and agents in over 40 countries and a large number of OEM’s who incorporate S+S equipment into their own products and systems.

ELECTRONICS ASSEMBLY & TEST
S+S GmbH operates a comprehensive manufacturing programme. Our control systems are designed and assembled in house, and the majority produced in our own factory ensuring high standards of quality and consistency.

DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
S+S products are designed and developed using the latest CAD and 3-D tools. Over 10% of our work force is employed in these disciplines ensuring we remain at the forefront of our industry. The company contains a high percentage of technically and commercially qualified personnel and training and skill development is a high priority within the business.

PRODUCTION
Units are produced from stock or built to order, depending on the product and its application and our use of high technology manufacturing equipment as well as the skills of our workforce ensures repeatability, high quality and fast response.

S+S - SEPARATON AND SORTING
We search for, find and then separate all ferrous and non-ferrous metals in raw materials, processing and packaged product applications. In our recycling systems camera, laser and X-Ray techniques are used to remove stones and ceramics and separate different coloured fractions from glass and plastics. We sort mixed product into pure fractions subsequent processing.
